  • Welcome

Providing a fire service for the community from the community.

    What we are.

The Darlington Volunteer Bushfire Brigade is a voluntary organisation registered as a bushfire brigade with the Shire of Mundaring and, as Darlington is within the Perth Metropolitan Fire District, we have registration with the Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA) who is responsible for our funding.

    Who we are.

The Darlington Volunteer Bushfire Brigade is made up of local people dedicated to fighting bushfires. They are from the suburbs of Darlington, Boya, Swan View, Bellevue and Helena Valley.

    Why we do it.

The Members of the Darlington Volunteer Bushfire Brigade are expressing their commitment to our community and the safety of it's members.

    The Future.

The Darlington Volunteer Bushfire Brigade is now a part of the Fire and Emergency Service Authority(FESA). The Brigade is now registered through the Shire of Mundaring as a Bush Fire Brigade and also to FESA as the suburb of Darlington is now inside the Metropolitan Fire district.

The effects of this have been immediate, with FESA providing funding for the Brigade and providing the maintenance of the two fast attack fire appliances. Other changes regarding training, equipment and responsibilities are likely in the comming years.
